Details Bookings Meeting Format Prices, Times & More Last Updated: 07th October 2022 11:18 8th October 2022 PreviewSun - BriSCA F1, 2L Saloons, BriSCA F2 The place to be for the 2L Saloon Championship of the World Speed Weekend with the World being top of the bill on the Saturday. As you would expect, there’s plenty to get through this weekend with many special events scheduled in addition to the World Championship event itself. Our Saturday events include a pre-meeting grid walk for the public which is always well received and a great opportunity for drivers and fans to interact. As ever, Richard Kaleta has something special up his sleeve during the meeting build-up so make sure you don’t miss out. The BriSCA F1 Stock Cars race on Saturday alongside the saloons with a very important memorial event to the entire racing community as we remember race fan and key sponsor Colin North on their meeting Final. The BSCDA Trust Fund race will also form part of the F1 programme on the night. The Sunday race programme also features moments of celebration and reflection as we pay tribute to F1 star Dave Chisholm, the F1 Stock Cars race for the Tommy Kaye memorial and the Saloon Stock Cars race in memory of Horry Barnes who was of course one of the longest servants in the history of our sport. BriSCA F2 Stock Cars are added as a third formula for the Sunday. Sponsorship is a key part of the modern era of Stock Car racing and we are delighted to have a broad range of sponsors on board this weekend. There is a special section of this programme dedicated to the sponsors and we encourage everybody to take a look and support their businesses as and when you can. Special mentions go however to Kevin Wickham for his work in bringing the sponsorship together and to John Owen at Owen’s Horseboxes for his season-long support of Saloon Stock Cars and Skegness Raceway. As a sample of the sort of sponsorship involved across the whole package this weekend, the World Final Winner will receive a Teng Tools toolbox set and a complete race engine courtesy of Elbourn Engines. We thank all of the sponsors for their invaluable contributions to the weekend. Don't forget your programme when you come in via the turnstiles or from the track shop, 50 plus page packed with Saloon World History, many great features and lots more! Don’t forget about the famous late night bar and disco, what happens in Skeg Vegas stays in Skeg Vegas! There will be public access over this weekend to the pits. Also advance tickets can’t be used at the pitgate, thanks. PLEASE DON’T ARRIVE BEFORE THE OPENING TIMES LISTED ON THE OTHER PAGE.
